A Powerful Learning Community, Serious About Sobriety


Jordan is a senior at PEASE Academy in Minneapolis, a sober high school. He talks about how his life has changed since coming to the school, the positive things students are involved with and the importance of having peer support.

Jordan was helping out at a pancake breakfast fundraiser at the school, which meets at a church building near the University of Minnesota. PEASE traces its roots to 1989.


Since 1989, PEASE Academy has been providing students with a refuge from social pressures and a doorway to incredible opportunity. As the nation’s oldest recovery high school, we not only celebrate our long history- but we look forward to a strong future- one that continues to provide a quality educational experience that is centered on healing and hope.

Located in the heart of Dinkytown, PEASE Academy offers an incredible array of opportunities that can be found at the University of Minnesota and the thriving metropolitan area of the Twin Cities.



Minnesota Recovery Corps is recruiting now! Recovery is a challenging journey. Share your experience to help others who are committed to recovery. Serve as a mentor for teens and adults in one-on-one and group settings to set goals, increase their skills, and maintain progress in their recovery. Receive student loan or tuition help for yourself, your child or grandchild. Get paid every two weeks. May be eligible for child
